Sweets by Mrs. C
is a Christmas themed ice cream and candy shop located in the heart of Monongahela, Pennsylvania and is owned and operated by Heidi Hoffman, a native of Charleroi, Pennsylvania. The shop is named to honor the owner’s 90-year-old mother who has dressed up as Mrs. Claus (Mrs. C) for the past several years as well as to keep the owner’s love of Christmas going year-round.
When you walk into Sweets by Mrs. C, you feel like you could be walking into Mrs. Claus’ kitchen. No uniform shelving here. Instead, you will find a variety of hutches and tables and chairs, all previously loved by other families which give the shop a homey atmosphere. The 18’ turn of the century counter with its intricate details and color choice is truly the centerpiece of the shop.
Heidi has always dreamed of a successful main street business, one where people could come in and celebrate the little moments of their lives. Sweets by Mrs. C is the place for first dates, to celebrate a big win or to just hang out with friends and family. In order to make your stay a little more enjoyable, Sweets by Mrs. C has placed board games around the shop.
